Pamela S. K. Glasner is delighted and honored to announce that Catherine A. Emerson, Michigan Elder Justice Resource Prosecutor at the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan, has consented to be the panel moderator at their upcoming “Safeguarding the Golden Generation” conferences in Metro Detroit, on the 25th and 30th of September, in Clinton Township and West Bloomfield, respectively.
Emerson has devoted 26 years of her life to obtaining justice for victims, having served Ingham County since 1987, the last five years as the Deputy Chief Assistant Prosecutor and the past three as a Special Assistant United States Attorney. Additionally, Emerson is the current chair of the Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton County Elder Death Review Team, a core member of the Community Response Team for Elder Abuse, a member of the Ingham County Bank Fraud Investigative Team, and a certified trainer for law enforcement investigations of elder abuse by the National Committee on Abuse Later in Life (NCALL).
“With her obvious commitment to (and passion for) the safety and protection of the elderly, Ms. Emerson could not be a better fit for our conferences and for our mission if we tried,” says Glasner. “I am awed by the caliber of professionals and experts who are supporting our work.”
Our the primary goal is always to help America’s senior citizens avoid financial abuse and exploitation.
